Our company

With 49 years in the market, RAPID specializes in the machining of cylindrical spur and helical gears up to module 2 in many different shapes and materials. The process used is the generation of a milling cutter teeth snail. RAPID does servicing and manufacturing of gears and parts of high complexity and precision. Starting from a drawing or a sample, we develop the appropriate process for making your pieces. We take pride of our high quality and competitivity, operating nationwide and also successfully exporting to Switzerland.

1975
FOUNDATION
Rapid was founded and imported its first machine – the latest generation swiss gear milling machine (Mikron), in order to deliver high precision gears from the beginning to a deficient market in this area.
 
1977
FIRST MOVE
The fast acquisition of machinery and contracts with Siemens and other large companies had forced a change in our facilities.
 
1982
SECOND MOVE
With the import of more machines as well as significant investments in the area of metrology, it had become necessary to expand again and therefore relocating to our current address.
 
1986
COMPLETE PARTS
At the request of automobile manufacturers and other large companies, we invested in the area of turning and grinding, in order for us to provide complete parts to our customers.
 
1994
CNC
Predicting the rising cost of labor in Brazil, a phase of automation of processes began with the import of the first CNC turning center machine (Schaublin / Switzerland).
 
2003
ISO 9001
In this year we were ISO 9001 certified, thus formalizing our already efficient quality control system.
 
2008
SECOND GENERATION
We began a new chapter as we moved on to the next generation of the Schenker family. This not only ensures continuous leadership, but also maintains our commitment to excellence and quality, the same values that have always defined our company.
 
2009
SOFTWARE
Gradual introduction of custom software has allowed greater agility and transparency, as well as obtaining performance results of the production in real time.
 
2024
OWN BUILDING
We reached new heights by acquiring our own building, marking our departure from the rental model. This strategic decision resulted in a substantial increase in the manufacturing area, which is now doubled to better meet the growing demands of the market.
