We work also with high precision turning and the machining of complex workpieces. Our equipment is able to machine parts with OD's from 5 to 110 mm and lengths up to 200 mm with following characteristics:

• Radial and axial milling, drilling and tapping
  
• External milling of all kind of geometries
  
• Diameter and excentricity precisions of 0,005 mm
  
• Turned surface finish better then Ra 0,4
  
• Orientation programmable in 0,001 increments
  

Our machinery is specially designed for the production of medium to large batches of parts. Most of the machines are from Switzerland allowing high precision milling and machining.

Periodic maintenance is performed in order to keep the equipment within the original manufacturer’s precision and technical tolerances.

Rapid supports the ITAndroids robotics team by manufacturing the necessary gears for the robots.

ITAndroids is a Robotics team composed of undergraduate and graduate students of ITA (Aeronautics Institute of Technology), in São José dos Campos. The team participates in competitions in Robotics and related areas since 2005
